Law degree, by the University of Lisbon School of Law (1980).

Specialist lawyer in Public Law by the Portuguese Bar Association (2006).

Secretary-General (1981 to 1985), responsible for expropriations and patrimony management (1989 to 2001) and responsible for the coordination of the legal advice and litigation cabinet (1993 to 2001) of EPAL.

Lecturer in the Portuguese Bar Association (1991 to 2002) and in the Certified Public Accountants Association (2001 to 2016).

Arbitrator and part of the list of arbitrators of the Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and of the Public Law Arbitration Centre.

Preferred areas, as a legal counsel: Public Law, mainly in the areas of Public Contracts, Concession Contracts, Public-Private Partnerships and Corporate Law.

Preferred areas as an attorney-at-law: Arbitration Procedures, Public Law litigation, Expropriation Procedures.
